Yes, the initial and online classes are fully sponsored by ELE USAL, Barcelona International Campus. Depending on the course intake, the number of international students, and the scholarship budget available at the time of application, you may receive either fully or partially free courses. The time required to learn Spanish perfectly can vary greatly depending on several factors, including: Prior Experience, Study Intensity, Practice, Personal Goals, Learning Environment etc: Generally, achieving a basic conversational level where you can manage day-to-day interactions comfortably may take approximately 3 to 6 months. For advanced proficiency and near-native fluency, the process can take 1 to 5 years or more, depending on the factors mentioned.

Yes, we offer accommodation in student residences such as Micampus, one of the top residences for students in Spain. There are also other options, like staying with a Spanish host family or in a shared apartment with other local university students and people.
Depending on your country of origin and the duration of the course, you may need a visa. We assist you throughout the application process. Study stays of up to 90 days do not require a visa. For longer stays, you may need a short-term visa (“Schengen Visa”) depending on your nationality. Family members who can obtain a visa to accompany the student include the spouse or de facto partner, and minor or disabled children. Our language and entrance preparation courses begin every first Monday of the month. However, the main intakes occur in January, April, June, and October, when you will find a wider range of options.
Our morning classes start at 9:00 AM. Midday courses begin at 2:00 PM, and the evening sessions finish at 9:00 PM. This means there are ongoing classes and activities from 9 AM to 9 PM. Some locations may start earlier and finish earlier. Please contact the local school for detailed information and timetables.
